Latest Updates from Our Project:
Printing Update - Product Revisions, Tooling, New Timeline

Hey Everyone,
First of all it's been a couple of months since our last update. Apologies for the radio silence - we thought we were approaching rapid completion / printing/ fulfillment of this project once we released the digital files, but alas that was not the case! It's been weeks and weeks of revisions and work behind the scenes and alas updating you, dear backer, inadvertently fell by the wayside. So sorry! But here's what's been happening since we last updated...
Physical Print Ready Files
In April, Emanoel and the rest of the team worked very hard to get the files print ready. This meant finishing the design of the box, making sure all of the proper layers for files were in place, and generally getting things ready from a file perspective in order to print. This of course took longer than anticipated but by the middle of April everything was out to the printer.
Tooling Samples - Version 1
Unfortunately, we identified several issues with the tooling samples sent our way. Some issues were minor - like an incorrect spot-UV file, or incorrect foil stamping - but there was one in particular that gave us great concern. The sleeves to hold the side panels were very tight. Slotting the pamphlets in and out of them was difficult and could easily damage both the pamphlets and the box itself.
Seeing this, we had to go back to the drawing board and redesign the box to be more like the original AUGMENTED version, with folding envelopes instead of an enclosed sleeve. We also in the meantime corrected the issues on the pamphlets we saw. All told, this took from the beginning of May to about last week - designing products is hard!
Current Status
We're now awaiting the second tooling sample, where hopefully everything will be A-OK! We just got the new digital proofs, and now it'll be a few days before the new tooling samples are sent via air freight to us for approval.
Hopefully this is the last round needed, and once approved we can go straight into printing.
New Timeline
If everything goes well, we'll hopefully begin printing in around two weeks time. From there, it'll take six weeks of manufacture and then an additional three to six weeks of ocean freight for OVERLOAD to arrive at our warehouses. Then, fulfillment will begin.
We plan on locking / charging for shipping on the campaign via BackerKit once we have word that manufacturing is underway. We'll drop another update notifying everyone that that is happening when it is happening.

Thanks everyone! Drop you questions, comments, and thoughts below. Talk soon, and until next time!

Manufacturing Update - Updated Timeline
– Fri, Mar 20, 2026 at 02:54:26 PM
Hey Punks!
Here's an update on how manufacturing is going. It has been a little slow the last few weeks after a couple of rounds of back and forth between us and the printer but we're finally ready to begin manufacturing in earnest.
The current state is we're finalizing our order and hopefully will begin tooling (creating physical proofs before mass manufacture) next week. All told, it should take 45 days of manufacturing from when we approve the final tooling samples.
This means our current timeline looks like:
Tooling - March to April 2026
Manufacturing - April to June 2026
Freight - June 2026 to July 2026
Fulfillment - July to August 2026
We're hoping to keep pretty tight to this schedule as we really want to get copies in by Gen Con in August. Fingers crossed and we'll keep you updated!

Tier Upgrades Open
First, thank you all so much for your support on this incredible project! All you Punks are the magic that makes this possible.
We've heard your requests and we have enabled Tier Upgrades on Backerkit. Whether you pledged at a lower tier to follow the project, realized that you want the polished physical copy, or you've come to realize your deep admiration for Emanoel and his Genius and want to support him.
Digital Distribution
Very shortly there will be an email from BackerKit Pledge Manager directing you to your digital files. Please follow those links to grab the digital PDFs of OVERLOAD, and if you grabbed it from this KS, of AUGMENTED. BackerKit is the only way we are distributing the files this time out, so if you do not see this email in your account please send an email to: [email protected] or message project on Kickstarter.

Thank you again for your support! We look to offer a greater update regarding digital distribution and more soon!

Pledge Manager is Open

H3110 Runners,
We are happy to announce that the development of CBR+PNK: Overload is complete! With the pamphlets and packaging all set, we’re ready to lock in the manufacturer, and the digital files will be sent to the backers in a couple of weeks.
In the meantime...
Pledge Manager is Open!
The Pledge Manager is now open for those who missed the campaign or want to _augment_ their rewards. We’re also sending out the surveys, so please keep an eye on your inbox and fill them out as soon as possible.
If you’ve been following us since the Augmented edition, you already know that finding the best graphic solutions for this product line is an ongoing concern for us. Like, REALLY! For Overload, we needed to adapt the original box to fit 18 pamphlets instead of the original 12. So the example we showed during the campaign was meant to distribute those 18 pamphlets across three separate boxes. However, after discussing it with the printer, it became clear that this approach would not be viable. So I went back to the drawing board and explored new ways to store all the pamphlets in a single box, while still keeping them organized by “theme”: Sprawl, [REDACTED], and Tech.
Here’s the result, which I honestly think turned out just as cool:
Breathless Hype!!!
The Breathless: Frightmare Edition campaign is coming soon. This will be an expanded, remixed edition of the indie classic created by Fari RPGs, design/layout by DNGNCLUB, and cover illustrations by Vil. Presented as a pamphlet boxset, just like CBR+PNK. In fact, Breathless will be the first game released under the Storypak line right out of the gate, which honestly makes me even more excited about it.
The game itself is a zombie survival thriller with rock-solid mechanics featuring step dice and scavenging to emulate the survival horror genre.
Thanks, as always, for your patience, excitement, and support as we get closer to the mark.
— Emanoel

Oi, Runners!
Let’s get this overdue update out of the way, shall we?
Things are moving along at a steady pace. We’ve completed almost all 18 pamphlets, except for Eurovenice and Spaccanapoli. As you saw in the last update, we managed to include Insurged and Hacky Races among those 18 titles, even though they didn’t reach their funding goals. And choom, do they look apex!
Hacky Races and Insurged
Plus, Vince has given Dark City and Tremont Plaza a visual upgrade!
There are still a couple of things to finish, including the packaging, but we estimate delivering the files to the manufacturer by the end of the month. We’ll keep you posted when that happens!
Breathless has entered the chat!
As many of you have heard, Mythworks is launching a cool boxed set edition of Breathless, the zombie survival horror role-playing game where you play as Survivors trying to stay alive in a walled city full of Crawlers (zombies).
BREATHLESS: FRIGHTMARE EDITION is a survival horror roleplaying game by designer Fari RPGs' René-Pier Deshaies, with art and layout by DNGN CLUB, produced by the same team that brought you CBR+PNK.
Another especially cool thing: this new edition rebuilds the original one-page classic into a fully realized campaign format, offering three play modes: Journey, Survival, and Haven. Let your group decide how to face the end. Campaign rules extend play across six to eight sessions, each one a story of loss, grit, and fleeting hope.
This project marks the debut of the STORYPAK Collection, establishing the CBR+PNK form factor as a series of standalone games! Each STORYPAK box includes a full TTRPG experience in the same compact, brochure-style format you’ve come to know from CBR+PNK.
SCIRE Megagame at PAX Unplugged 2025!!
Step into the arcology at Pax Unplugged. Unlock doors. Flip switches. Trigger wild threats. SCIRE 2.0. Twice the players. Bigger map. Even more game.
For the uninitiated, SCIRE is a megagame written by Graham Gentz and Ray Chou, and powered by a stripped down version CBR+PNK and the +Weird plugin. The first run was a success at GenCon earlier this year (read more about it here) and now the team is expanding the game to fit 60 (that's right, SIXTY) players!
If you’re attending and looking for an unforgettable cyberpunk experience, go grab a ticket!
